A message dated May 10, 2004, was read stating the Senate has passed                                
CSHB 531(FIN) am with the following amendment and it is                                             
transmitted for consideration:                                                                      
                                                                                                    
     SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 531(FIN)                                                   
     "An Act relating to natural gas exploration and development and                                
     to nonconventional gas, and amending the section under which                                   
     shallow natural gas leases may be issued; and providing for an
